Scott and I got finally found a place! As most of you know, I am not the happiest about renting but with what happened with my job last year, I am not going to potentially screw myself by buying something and then finding out that I have to work at the hotel and sub next year.

Things that I like about this apartment:

- It has a backyard for the dogs
- There is only one other unit (girls) that are living above us
- It has 2 bedrooms
- It has a HUGE dining room with a hutch
- Decently sized living room
- First floor, making it easier to take said dogs out at 5 am in the winter
- At Damen and Division. This is probably the part I am most excited for. We actually found a place in our price range in this area (a suprise to both of us). Being off of Division is awesome...you can walk anywhere and we are just a little bit south of trendy/hipster central (which I don't totally reject) at North/Damen/Milwaukee. Scott is SUPER stoked to live in this area.
- Close to the blue line for Scott
- Close to the highway for me
- TONS of closet space - 2 walk-in closets and a fairly big closet in the main living area
- Busy area but quieter neighborhood street

Scott and I signed the lease yesterday and walked up and down Division for a bit. There are so many cute restaurants and he totally fell in love with this chocolate place Coco Rouge. His drink was this insanely thick chocolate cherry drink that was out of control. We also bought this awesome print from Renegade and I am excited to get it framed and put it up with the other awesome art that we have.

We officially move in November 1, but are probably going to be able to get in there sooner to paint and move the bigger stuff in.

I hate moving and we both have SO MUCH CRAP to move into this place. I am so crazy busy with school that whenever I even think about moving I get overwhelmed. At least I will be much closer to work, as it took me nearly THREE HOURS to get home from Highland Park on Friday. I can't even imagine what traffic would be like when there is snow on the ground.

Time to go to sleep. Peace.
